Today is the first day of SNOW! I think it should be declared a national holiday! With all the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving and Christmas I think that snow is God’s way of saying ,“Slow down and be stunned by the snowflakes.” I love sitting in front of the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate and a good book, starring out the window and seeing the snow fall in gentle silver crystals from heaven to earth. It’s almost like God is showing us the meaning of Christmas; how He sent His Son down to earth in simplistic beauty (nothing enormously flashy, but something spectacular) to come and wash the world in a blanket of pure white, covering all imperfections with a gloriously perfect layer of refreshingly silent snow.
