We were singing in Denver, CO this weekend. God knew that we needed to be here because around 1am on Sunday morning (Nov 20th) mom was in the Emergency Room. Within minutes of arriving, they found blood clots in her lungs. It’s been very serious and scary but we know that God is with us through everything. The doctors have been wonderful and have done a great job of taking care of everything. They did sonograms to find the clots and discovered they came from her legs. (Mom, Danika, Lainika and Autumn got rear ended in a car accident in August which gave mom a bulging disc in her back. She was restricted from lots of movement which we believe caused the clots to form in her legs.) In her right leg she has a clot that goes from her knee to her ankle and another in her left leg. She also has several clots in her lungs (they had been moving through her heart all day on Saturday). God was so good to spare her from a heart attack! Once all the clots were discovered on Sunday, they decided to put a filter in this morning to keep the clots in her legs from getting to her heart. Surgery went great and we are extremely thankful for all of your prayers.
